Samsung SDS to Advance Cloud ERP Business Collaboration with SAP

On March 20th Samsung SDS announced it would upgrade its collaboration with SAP in the cloud ERP business.

June-hee Lee (President and CEO of Samsung SDS) and Christian Klein (CEO of SAP) discussed cloud business strategies and agreed to jointly pursue the expansion of the cloud ERP business by leveraging Samsung SDS’s competency in ERP implementation and operation. Notably, the two companies plan to strengthen their cooperation to introduce cloud ERP in regulated industries, such as the public, finance, and defense sectors.

In the future, the strategic partnership between Samsung SDS and SAP will expand to cover cloud ERP-based AI and the hyperautomation sectors. In particular, they will actively support cloud ERP migration for customers in the public, financial, and defense industries.

Christian Klein, CEO of SAP, said, “Samsung SDS has long been a customer and strategic partner of SAP. The company owns top-notch global capabilities in implementing and operating cloud and ERP. We hope that this collaboration will allow us to deliver SAP’s high-quality cloud ERP services to our customers in Korea.”
