Migration to Samsung Cloud Platform

VM Migration supports a rapid and convenient transfer of the customer’s existing systems on premises or in the cloud to Samsung Cloud Platform. The service enables easy migration to the virtual servers of the Platform without having to reinstall the operating system.

Overview

  • Easy Migration

    The migration method of Samsung Cloud Platform does not require re-installation of the operating system. Easy migration is possible for servers whose OS replication is complete thanks to the feature that assigns IP addresses uniformly.

  • Uses Migration Tool

    Using ZConverter, users can install agents on the servers to be migrated and simply move them using the migration wizard. Migration of a virtual/physical server being used in an on-premise or cloud environment to Samsung Cloud Platform VM is possible.

  • Complete Data Transfer

    For complete data transfer, the gap between the original and copied data after the replication (initial) has to be overcome. When using ZConverter, the incremental copy feature until the cutover enables easy additional transfer of the changed data online and ultimately syncs the data on the opening date of system transfers to support a successful opening.
