Samsung SDS Holds Cloud Partners Day to Support Mutual Growth with Partners
+ Attended by Approximately 200 employees from 73 cloud and data business partners
+ Demonstrated cloud-based generative AI services such as FabriX and Brightics AI
+ Shared insight for project success, including conversion to Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP)
On May 28th, Samsung SDS held Cloud Partners Day for the First Half of 2024 at the Samsung SDS Campus (Global Headquarter) for cloud and data business partners.
This event aimed to support partner businesses by introducing new SCP products and a roadmap and by sharing know-how of successful generative AI-based services and projects. Approximately 200 employees from 73 partner companies in SCP and data businesses -- including MegazoneCloud, Snet Systems, Kyungpo Computer & Communication -- attended the event and showed keen interest in Samsung SDS’s cloud and data analytics business strategies.
During Cloud Partner Day 2024, Samsung SDS introduced new SCP products and a roadmap; functions of the generative AI platform Fabrix; and methods for utilizing its data analytics platform, Brightics AI. Additionally, successful projects done with Samsung SDS partners were shared.
In particular, Samsung SDS shared cases of converting clients’ legacy infrastructure into SCP-based cloud services and cases of innovating public security services through Brightics AI, providing attendees with insights on project wins and success.
Furthermore, Samsung SDS organized separate zones to demonstrate SCP, FabriX, and Brightics AI. The company also provided consultations on partnerships, garnering significant attention from participants.
During the event, Yong-hyeok Park, Leader of the Strategic Business Center (Senior Director) of MegazoneCloud said, “Samsung SDS Cloud Partners Day will play a significant part in vitalizing the SCP ecosystem and promoting mutual development with partners.”
Scott HJ Koo, Executive Vice President and Leader of the Cloud Service Business Division at Samsung SDS, said, “We have organized this annual event since 2022 to strengthen the SCP business and enhance collaboration with business partners. We will steadfastly explore competitive partners by region and business to ensure mutual growth.”
Samsung SDS has also continuously held Gen AI Day, a seminar for customers in various sectors -- including public/national defense, retail/distribution, finance, and manufacturing -- contributing to the innovation of customers’ business productivity by leveraging cloud and generative AI.
