User account access control and privilege management

ID Center is a service that helps companies easily create and manage users and user groups on the Samsung Cloud Platform.
This allows to configure control policies for services within an account as a set of permissions and assign them to users.

Overview

  • Efficient User Management

    By registering a user once in the ID Center and configuring a set of permissions and applying them to multiple accounts, customer can manage user access in a visible and systematic way. It can be easily managed user additions and account assignments in bulk by utilizing user groups.

  • Optimized Access Control Policy Operation

    It can be created access control policies for control/action/resource type and authentication method/IP at a granular level for each service. This allows to apply a least privilege policy when granting access to cloud resources, allowing for appropriate access control for each user.

  • Strengthen Account Security

    Through a separately provided access portal apart from console login, ID Center users are allowed access to the account assigned to the with a limited set of permissions. This can strengthen account security by fundamentally preventing unauthorized users from accessing the account.
